Sorry Dr. Dan, didn’t mean to take your clinic hostage. Don’t take the feeding tube out just yet. It’s still a work in progress. Any ideas? Suggestions, tranquilizers? It was raining and I got busy.
I think I;m done with these guys. If you zoom in by clicking on the image and then click again you get Zoom. I worked some ink patterns into the coral. Just enough to make it interesting but not enough to take away from the fish. So Bloo, Rex, Betty, and Larry can live together forever or until the frames are separated. But I won’t do that to them.
Besides Betty isn’t too popular. She needs the company.
Bloo

11 X 14 ink with acrylic background.
By now I must be known as the fish lady. No I don’t live near the ocean, but I am a Pisces. Lets just call it a phase. I think it needs something in the background, I could be wrong.
I tweaked the fish! hope it looks better. Still, it’s a work in progress.
Still a work in progress.
Shadow of the Creature
Actually a guy
putting the roof on a chicken house. I liked the shapes and thought it might make a strong painting like my subway map. Would you suggest bright colors or bizarre choices within the areas formed by the shadows? Should the shadow lines be different colors or all one color? And one very different color for the monster himself? Opinions will be appreciated – thanks!
Storage Pots
Been working on restocking the studio with storage pots.
SO.. the most common question.. “what do you put in them?”
Answers I’ve gotten from clients:
“$50 bills as gifts for my nieces”
“A diamond Tanzanite Ring for my wife”
“Spice mix”
“My earrings”
“Change”

Personally, I keep Kosher salt in one, black pepper in one, sugar by the coffee pot in another, and incense cones in a 4th in the living room

So there really isn’t a specific use for them, which is kind of their best quality.

Lady of the Ocean
Yes, I’m sorry, another ocean painting. I made this for someone special. He lost it… Probably rolled up in a shoe box in a closet. Maybe if it’s seen here It can be appreciate by someone other than a closet spider. I value every opinion! My daughter had a photocopy. My favorite thing is the bubbles. If I could think of a painting I could do and use a lot of bubbles I’ll do it. My intention was for the octopus to look scarier than the lady. He’s kind of cute though. She looks like a lady at the DMV.
